LifeFM Cork: A Brief History & Mission


LifeFM Cork made history as the first Christian radio station in Ireland to receive a permanent broadcasting license from the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI). The station officially launched at 7 AM on March 16, 2008, with the mission to “shine the light of Christ over Cork.” On April 22, 2008, the Lord Mayor inaugurated LifeFM’s studios in Togher, Cork.hope, encouragement, and faith-based programming to the people of Cork. There are many ways to contribute—find the one that’s right for you!

LifeFM’s primary aim is to provide resources to help you on your journey through life.  There is hope in the world today, even when it doesn’t feel like it.  Our “Finding God” section of the website offers access to the hope that the Bible brings to our circumstances in everyday life.
