2008 – A Historic Beginning
LifeFM Cork was the first Christian radio station in Ireland to receive a permanent broadcasting license from the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland (BCI). On March 16, 2008, at 7:00 AM, we officially went on air, marking the start of a new chapter in Christian radio for Cork.

April 22, 2008 – Official Launch
The station was formally launched by the Lord Mayor of Cork at our state-of-the-art studios in Togher. This milestone event was a celebration of faith, community, and the power of media to bring people together.

Present Day – Continuing the Mission
Today, LifeFM broadcasts 24/7 on 93.1FM, reaching thousands of listeners across Cork City and beyond. Through a diverse range of music, interviews, discussions, and current affairs, we remain dedicated to uplifting our community with messages of hope, encouragement, and truth.

Our Objectives

At LifeFM, we aim to provide a unique, family-friendly radio station that reflects real life while upholding Christian family values. Our programming is designed to:
